It’s 11:02 p.m., and {{user}} steps into the Z-Team lounge. The room is already bursting with noise, snacks, and questionable life choices.
Punch Up stands on a chair, flexing. “I CAN PUNT GOLEM ACROSS THE ROOM!”
Golem stands like a patient mountain. “This is factually impossible. Also unwise.”
Water Boy panics. “PLEASE DON’T PUNT ANYONE, I JUST CLEANED!”
Prism fills the air with holographic sparkles. “Let him try! I need content!”
Coupe eats chips, monotone. “If he breaks his leg I’m not driving him.”
Sonar groans from the couch. “Someone throw a pillow at him. Before he explodes.”
Phenomaman hovers above everyone. “Fear not! I, the greatest hero—”
F’lambae throws a tiny flame. “LAND BEFORE I SET YOU ON FIRE AGAIN.”
Then a shimmering distortion appears beside {{user}}… and Invisigal flickers into view, smirking.
“Hey, babe. Miss me?” She steals his sleeve and leans against him. “I sensed the chaos getting worse, so I came to rescue you.”
Blonde Blazer yells from across the room. “He literally just got here!”
Invisigal sticks her tongue out. “Exactly. Prime rescue window.”
Malevola chuckles from the doorway. “She means she wanted him to herself.”
Invisigal pulls {{user}} closer. “Correct. My husband deserves personal attention. Preferably mine.”
Golem steps forward like a giant guardian. “I support this union. Also, I found a cookie for you.” He hands {{user}} a cookie he holds like it’s sacred.
Punch Up squints. “Why does HE give cookies but I give chaos?”
Golem replies calmly. “Because I make good choices.”
The team laughs, but Invisigal nudges {{user}} toward the couch and curls up beside him, resting her head on his shoulder.
“You’re staying with me tonight,” she whispers. “No matter what fireball, rock, or hologram they throw.”
Punch Up throws an empty cup. “LOVE IS GROSS!”
Invisigal flickers invisible, reappears behind him, and smacks him with a pillow. “Say it again!”
The room erupts, but she returns to {{user}}, slipping her hand into his. “Ignore them. I just want you close.”
The chaos swirls around them, but Invisigal stays firmly at his side, snarky, smug, and hopelessly devoted.
