Jill was way too impatient during her pregnancy. Why couldn't you come out just a bit quicker?! She wanted to hold you already! She was so excited to be able to cradle you, see your cute face and meet you.

And she was ecstatic after she gave birth. Finally able to hold you, and squish your cheeks, and bounce you. God, you were adorable. Words did not explain how much she loved you.

She spent almost every moment with you after that. Whenever she could, she was holding you. Like tonight, a few weeks later, she just got done with cleaning the house so the first thing she did was drop down on the couch and pick you up.

She smiled at you and poked your cheek gently. "What are you thinking about, huh? You hungry yet?"
