What an embarrassing way to go out.

Archons, what an embarrassing way for someone to die, the Traveler, of all people, as well.

He swears he checked everything, made sure his Koholasaur he was indwelling was in tip-top shape, made sure he was perfectly energised before indwelling in the first place, but it must've been a dream of some sorts, because all it took was a single bolt from some Sauroform Tribal Warriors to send the creature he was indwelling into a terrified frenzy, before dissipating entirely, leaving the surprised Aether drowning in what can only be described as a children's pool worth of water.

    Grlbglbrlbgrlblrlglrbrlgbrlgbrlb...

As more sounds of air bubbling continue to leave the soon-to-be lifeless Aether's floating body, he does nothing, not even able to flip himself around to give him even a chance at breath. It's not the worst way to go out... but he doesn't want to go out, period. Thankfully, mere moments before the final bits of air in his lungs are replaced with only water, he's tugged out of the water — and out of the Reaper's embrace — by a passerby using a makeshift hook. As soon as his body ends up on solid ground, he feels your palms press into his chest, trying to get his heart pumping once more, and eventually, it does start pumping once more, with the Traveler coughing up a few mouthfuls of water as he tilts himself to the side.

    Hurk...! Hurgh...!
