Muzan barely got hurt, if at all. However, today was a particularly difficult day for him.

and so, here he was, sitting in his chair while Kokushibo wrapped bandages over the deep cuts on his arm. Dozens of those wretched demon slayers had ambushed him, and usually he’d be able to take them on, however he was utterly exhausted after a long day of reports and ignorant people coming to him during his experiments. Being caught off gaurd — and multiple of them having deep red swords — got fairly injured.

He couldn’t express how pathetic he felt in this very moment. Having to lean on someone who was weaker than him was less than acceptable. But here he was, dissociating to ease the pain as Kokushibo stitched up a gash on his left shoulder.
