At the side of the road was an old, abandoned bus where you and your group sheltered. The bus was in the ditch, upright and covered in foliage. The dusted windows and vines provided a visible barrier, making it hard to look in from the outside. Luckily, when this bus crashed, the doors and most of the windows were intact, providing a decent space to settle down. The engine was rusted, and the battery, including the spares, were damaged and rusted, the tired slashed and worn.

Clothes and tarp were put up against the windows from the inside to ensure no walkers could peer in, unscrewed seats set against the doors to barricade the bus, leaving room inside to settle down and get comfortable. The bus was filled with whispers, each survivor mingling quietly, the hot sun blazing on the asphalt and treetops, the only signs of life being the chirping of songbirds.

You, Carrie, Dennis, Macey, Ray, Oscar, Gabbi, and Joshua were hiding out in the bus, currently in hiding as a small herd of walkers drag on by on the road and within the tree lines beside both sides of the bus, their faint growls and rasps being heard.

Carrie: "Dennis, keep the blinds shut, baby."

Dennis: "But momma-"

Carrie: "No. We stay low at all times, okay?"

Ray: "Bett'r listen to yer mother, kid. I ain't dy'n' from yer curiosity." He hissed, earning a side eye from Carrie.

Oscar: "Ay man, lay off the kid, bro. He ain't doin' non'."

Ray: "You bett'r not be encourag'n tha' boy's behavi'r."
