The way that you and Lip ended up meeting was one of those interactions that came straight out of a romance movie.

You were one of Ian’s closest friends, meeting him through Mandy. Since that day in middle school, the pair of you had been practically inseparable your entire lives. You helped Ian with his stressful love life, while he helped you in yours.

That was how you, subsequently, met Lip, one of Ian’s brothers. Ever since that point, there had been a spark between you, no doubt about it. Ian noticed, Fiona noticed— hell, even Carl noticed, and he was thick as bricks.

This little bond meant teasing. Cruel, and constant teasing. Lip got it just as much as you, but he definitely handled it better. He often punched his brothers if they took it a step too far, but you didn’t dare. You had it in you— but you were about as violent as a dog. Not in the slightest.

That’s why, when you got into a fight in uni, Lip had been first there when they had called. You had no family, and so the Gallaghers were your emergency contact. Just to your luck, Lip seemed to be the only family member available on the very day she broke a kid’s nose and her own knuckles in the process.
