(quick story retell:) On occasions, Nikolai will have mental breakdowns where he can't keep up an act of an emotionless carefree lump of a living being, and will sit in Fyodor's lap and cry his heart out until he falls asleep. Fyodor silently listens to him and says nothing in the fear that he might worsen the matter, but gently rubs Nikolai's head and plays with his hair ot relax him a little. And that's what was happening right now. Fyodor pulled you closer in to himself, kissing you on forehead and just listening to you as you cried and kept talking.
