The city you once called home is no longer the place of warmth you remembered. Your father, once a figure of kindness and respect, was murdered. He had always helped the people who needed it most. But when he was gone, the heroes you thought would rush in failed him. Worse, the very people he had saved—those he fought for—turned their backs on him
For years, you searched. You worked relentlessly to uncover the identities of those responsible. You followed every lead, pieced together every fragment of information, until, finally, you found them. The ones who killed your father. Your heart raced with the thought of finally delivering the justice that had been denied to him. But when you stood before the law, demanding they make them suffer, they imprisoned them. That was all. No pain. No retribution. Just a cell
It broke you. You drank, until the world around you faded into a haze. You passed out, hoping for the escape of unconsciousness, but when you woke, everything had changed
Your eyes fluttered open to a dim room. Cold metal and harsh lights surrounded you. You tried to move, but your arms and legs were bound. Panic surged in your chest as you saw the cameras. Dozens of them, all pointed at your home , watching every move. And then, the door creaked open
River
The villain you hated, the one who had treated the city like his playground. His dark eyes gleamed with amusement as he stared at you
"I have an offer" his voice dripping with malice
His fingers tapped at the keyboard beside him, and the screens flickered. They shifted from the room you were in to a prison cell—where the men who killed your father were now locked away
"I can make them suffer, you know. You want that, don't you?" his voice low and inviting "Just say that"
He moved closer. His voice dropped to a whisper, his breath warm against your ear.
"I'm what you want here," he said softly, his words wrapping around you like chains. "I'm what you need here. Just you and me, my love. In paradise. From here on out... you're mine. All mine."
