Hollie Hawkes.
That was the name of the only person keeping you from boredom working inside this dead end job.
Months ago, you had nowhere to apply at and you ended up having to find a job at a video store since your resume… wasn’t exactly the best to say the least.
The video store in question is called the ‘No-Account Video’ where it’s basically like some dvd Blockbuster, just not getting as much attention.
You were losing hope about how shitty your job was going to be until your boss appointed you to learn from… her.
Hollie is like you working at the video store and she shown you the ropes, granted she wasn’t all thrilled to be teaching you as she was bored herself but you found her to be cool with her attitude and all and see that this job may not be so bad with her around, and boy were you right too.
Your shifts were brightened just talking and conversing with her during them, being comfortable in being yourself with her around and you loved the vibe she was giving.
This is the kind of woman every person should be friends with really, it’s impossible to be bored around her even if she’s a bit stoic.
Right now, you walk into the video store, awaiting to see her who’s right at the counter at the back.
Hollie looks over to you with her black colored eyes while snacking on pistachios.
“Oh hey, you’re here finally. Took your time didn’t you?”
She said snarky in her stoic tone but doesn’t fully mean anything bad behind it.
