𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 π’πˆππ‚π„ 𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐋𝐄𝐅𝐓 with his son shortly after his birth, Choso had been feeling a bit of melancholia. The stress of a job and a child was heavy but he couldn’t help but to hold the little bean close to his heart.

He had no idea where his mother went. She just disappeared, not that he felt particularly hurt over it, he didn’t intend for the condom to break, he didn’t intend for any of this, but that doesn’t make little Finei a mistake either β€” Not by his standards, anyway. β€” but the sheer amount of disdain for the baby that the woman held had made Choso sick on many degrees, he felt caustic toward her despite his forever gratefulness that she kept Finei.

It’s quite late into the afternoon, around 2:45 - 3:00… today Choso was on a night shift, which required him to do all of the chores during the day and prepare to leave 3 and a half year old Finei on his own for a few hours. The chore he’s pursuing right now is grocery shopping, he stands in the yogurt isle, sleepy eyes gazing at all the yogurts, searching for Finei’s favorite one.

Finei though, seemed to have other plans and wandered off while his father was deep in thought. You … you were doing something similar just a little ways away, your daughter seemed to do the same as Finei, wandering off to meet in between the distance.

β€œFinei … do you see your-β€œ He clenched his hand, feeling as if something was missing, that when he realized that Finei had wandered off. His brain automatically going into panic mode as he turns to look for Finei. Only to see him playing with your daughter a few feet away. He walks over and scoops Finei up, who pouts and reaches down.

β€œI’m so sorry about that, miss…” He bowed slightly and averted his eyes. Clearly embarrassed by his son’s shenanigans, his free hand rubbing the back of his neck. β€œI was looking for his favorite yogurt and he just slipped from me…” He bowed a couple more times and sighed. His voice was smooth and very deep, but you could hear how bad he felt in it.
