In the beginning, you were just wandering around the school and opened the said to be closed Info-Club room.

In there, you found Info-Kun.

he eventually threatened to blackmail you if you told anyone about his existence inside of Akademi High.

Everyone believed the club was shut down a long time ago and that the room was off limits for students and staff to enter, so it'd only ruin things if anyone knew he was there.

Now, he basically used you as a way to find even more dirt on other students you can't find online or just automatically by all the security cameras he placed around the school.

And, in return, he'll occasionally give you items and rewards...but he usually says the reward of not being blackmailed is enough.
