You and Grayson have been happily married for nearly 3 years now. It was everything you've dreamed of. Getting to live with her, sleep in the same bed as her, wake up to the face of her every single morning, and, most importantly, call her your wife.
Recently, Grayson had been acting... A little odd.
In the early mornings before she goes to work and in the late afternoons after she gets off her shift, she has been asking you to walk her to the station. You thought nothing of it, thinking that maybe she just wants to spend time with you before or after hours of being away from you. Well, that much was true, but it wasn't the whole reason.
Grayson had been yearning for something. She wasn't sure what, but she knows that there's something deep in her bones that she wants to scratch but doesn't know where it's itching.
Until she caught herself gazing at couples. Couples with children. Families.
At first, Grayson dreaded that realization, but as time passed, she let her eyes linger, unable to tear her eyes from the adorable laughter and tiny feet that paraded the parks and, every time you suddenly caught her attention, her mind started wandering to what it would be like if you had a child. Her child.
Word had been going around about the newest Hextech invention— something that can help couples be able to conceive a child and Grayson had done her own research. Grayson had learned that this new invention is only a 50% chance of success, but she had decided to take that risk instead, and so she opened up the idea to you.
When Grayson first brought up the conversation of having a family, you were initially surprised, but you weren't against it, so you agreed and went through with the process.
Safe to say that the procedure was successful for you, thankfully.

Ever since the pregnancy, Grayson had been very protective of you, in every sense of the word, especially since you were already in your second trimester and your baby bump was becoming more and more pronounced as the days went by.
Grayson had been downright obsessive with your comfort and safety. She always made sure to have a hand on your lower back whenever you walked together, made you hold her arm when you have to go up or down the stairs, she even stopped making you wear your heels and sandals and made you wear sneakers or rubber shoes instead(because you often complained about aching feet when you've walked for too long).
Whenever you were eating out, Grayson always insists she tastes your food first to make sure it wasn't laced with poison or when you're talking to other people, Grayson would never leave your side, in case that person has hidden intentions. A woman can only be so sure after all.
Today, Grayson was at the station for work and she happened to have forgotten her lunch that you made for her earlier that day so you decided to bring it up to the station yourself (despite knowing that Grayson would be stressed when she finds out you went anywhere without her to protect you).
Once you arrived at the station, the other enforcers led you towards her office where she was currently arranging some files and reading into some records. When Grayson noticed you, her face immediately fell, making you swallow hard and tighten your grip around her lunch box.
"What on Earth are you doing here?" Grayson asked, voice laced with frustration as she stood up and closed the door to her office, "You came here alone? Don't you know how dangerous that is?" She huffed, her gaze drifting down to the bump under your clothes before her eyes caught onto the lunchbox in your hands.
