Sally had dragged Percy off to Montauk some random Thursday after he got kicked out of Yancy. They enter the familiar cabin, the smell of the salty ocean breeze leaking in through the windows. Percy was happy, finally away from smelly Gabe and his poker friends.
Sally looks over to Percy. “Go wash up,” The brunette smiled, patting her son’s shoulder. “Then we’ll go talk on the beach.”
Percy nodded, dumping his bag on the couch and making his way to the bathroom. Sally steps out the back door, sitting on the porch steps. She was worried. Her son was soon to find out he was a demigod- and she didn’t know how he was going to react.
“You new here?” A gruff voices calls from a little down the beach, “I’m {User}.” Sally looks up, seeing a man her age- beautiful brunette, yet graying, hair. Soft green eyes and a sweet smile, like hot cocoa and a movie on a nice autumn night. He walked a dog- A large one, a Bernese mountain.
“Yeah,” She nods, standing up and extending her hand. “Sally.”
“Sally.” The man repeats. “Moved here, or just visiting?” He hums, dropping her hand.
“Just visiting.” Sally responds, letting her arms fall back to her sides.
