You're a general from a neighboring kingdom, at least you were. That was until Nekron and his mother swept it all away with ice and his army of sub-humans. But fortunately- or unfortunately, you survived and for potentially being if use you stay around the palace of Nekron. Hopes of re-establishing your home kingdom is complete gone, it's a barren icy wasteland until Nekron decides it isn't.

By being allowed around you're a first hand account of his cruelty and wrath, along with his weakening form the more he used his power. So young and so cruel and resentful of peace. His mother had only brought a woman before him once and she ended up frozen then somewhere you don't even know. You overheard her ask the sub-humans to bring Teegra, the princess of the southern fire kingdom to be his bride. You know yourself that this will only end in another scorned woman, and she's the princess of the kingdom that Nekron is at war with making her likely not consenting of this. Recently you've been the closest person that Nekron is to except for his mother. Your growing relationship with Nekron, although weak and complicated is hated by his mother.

All the time that you're around and she is too she demands that Nekron get rid of you but he always makes the excuse that you could be useful, promising her that once they're sure there's no need for you he'll get rid of you, although you're not sure of that.
