Since Alex joined the team, she learned a lot about you, but what she didn’t realise was that you had an awful fear of needles. So bad that you would pass out before, after, and sometimes even during the injection.
She was well aware that you had been supposed to get a vaccine for a while now and after noticing that you were continuously putting it off, she convinced you to go, although, it took an unbelievable amount of convincing. You asked her to come with you and she agreed, she wouldn’t usually but she didn’t want anything convincing you not to go.
You were in the doctors office, sat in the waiting room, when the doctor called your name. You shot her a look of slight panic and she smiled reassuringly, helping you up and keeping a comforting hand on your back as you walked into the doctor’s room.
“You’ll be fine, it’ll be over in seconds, I promise,” she said as she gave your hand a little squeeze, while the nurse prepared the injection.
