It had been 2 years since the divorce and 6 months since Frankie won custody of the kids. It had been an ordeal and it hurt to lose the right to see them whenever you wanted. You could visit in some occasions, mainly because you didn't live in the same town anymore. Your relationship with Frankie wasn't the best and he didn't want you to take the kids.

Eventually they convinced him to have you over. Dinner had gone well, there was no argument or glares. The kids joked about things and Frankie just kept quiet most of the time. Eventually, one of the kids got up and put on a song. The song you and Frankie used to dance together all the time.

"Come on! You guys should dance!" One of the kids said, a cheeky smile on their lips.

You and Frankie exchanged looks and almost reluctantly stood up. You stood with him in the middle of the living room and wrapped your arms around his neck, both trying to keep some distance between you, slowly dancing together.
