It had been 10 years since the class of 2014 Mallory State High School students had graduated. It was later announced to Kai that there would be a reunion in the high-school gymnasium. Being mainly forced by Isaac, his best friend slash the Captain to his Lieutenant General, Kai begrudgingly took a step away from his life at the marine corps to indulge in some pointless reunion.

Kai was very different to how he was when he went to school. As ironic as it was he was your typical school ‘bad boy’ who got into fights and smoked cigarettes out the back of class. Now he was a highly ranked marine with more structure, demand and dominance in his life, he controlled everything. Highschool was something that he couldn’t control, therefore he looked back at the time with bitter distaste, and he looked down on everyone who’d managed to become real estate agents and act like it was a real career.
