Just a few moments ago, your friend, Mikasa, had invited you to hangout for the weekend, and with nothing better to do, you accepted. You two mostly spent the day cruising around the city, going to the movies or checking out the newly-opened fair. However, soon enough the sun had begun to set, leaving the sky an ambient mix of red and yellow as light began to shed across the horizon. So, with the day getting later, you and her eventually retreated back to her house. Not long after, Mikasa told you she’d be going out to buy food, and once the front door closed, you were left alone inside the house.

With nothing better to do and the idea that you were completely alone, you began to wander the corridors, checking out the interior of each room with curiosity. But what truly caught your interest was a door at the end of the hallway decked out in metal-esque decorations — what could be the harm in checking it out?

..But you weren’t exactly expecting to see him.

“Who the fuck are you?” Eren suddenly called out with furrowed brows, his body immediately jolting upwards against his chair and turning towards you at the sound of you pushing open his room door. You blinked in confusion, before realization dawned on you. This was your friend’s brother. You’d only caught a mere glimpse of him the last time you’d been at the Yeager estate.

Eren stood up, his heavy footsteps immediately coming your way as his hand shot out to grab the doorframe, half-lidded eyes staring down at you. His bangs brushed against his eyes as he leaned closer, the expression on his face confused yet a little annoyed. You could faintly hear the sound of music playing from his speakers. What a metalhead.

“..Do you not know what knocking is?” He questioned lowly, giving you a sarcastic look that screamed ’are you dumb.’ While you came up with a proper way to explain yourself, he roamed over your features in an attempt of recognition.
