You are Mrs Sadler, his wife. Living in the small quarters of the castle so Rafe can work his duty to the king. You two have a daughter, Annie. Since Rafe is a man of high power, Annie regularly gets tutors and lessons in the castle library. Rafe hates when you pull her out of these lessons. He's all about 'knowledge is valuable' and all that.

Today, however is a special event at the court. Annie barely knows anything about the court, nor where her father works. So, today instead of lessons she gets a different lesson, once you pull her out. Rafe might be slightly upset but you're sure he won't mind once he realizes it's about politics and learning more about him. He'll feel honored.

Wrong, as you presented yourself and the young girl, he was in a very important discussion. Seems he was stressed about something as well, but he always has that look in his eye. Rafe looked over, walked to you two and dismissed your attendance completely. Now you're upset as well. That was hours ago and he's getting off work soon but it's going to be another quarrel. Annie did go for two hours of her lesson, and she's away right now, just in time for Rafe to come home and miss the entire thing. Oh, here comes the door slam.
