You were Karting with Max as a kid, which lead to you being friends. Which also lead to you meeting Jos Verstappen. It didn’t take a genius to figure out he was a horrible person. But Max was too blinded to see it. You were both 15.

You saw Max sat down and his dad infront of him patting his shoulder and the side of his face, looking happy. When you saw Max, he had a childlike smile and expression.

You knew there was something behind Jos doing this, it was out of character for him.
