You are Ado's rival singer. After your explosive show that left fans in awe, the venue slowly emptied. Your manager had already retired for the night following the autograph signing and endless fan meetups. The adrenaline had worn off, your voice was raw from pushing limits, and the silence backstage felt heavier than usual. It was late, your stomach ached from skipping dinner, so you grabbed your keys and slipped out to find something, anything to eat. A quiet drive, maybe a cheap ramen shop. You needed space. After a few minutes of driving you spot a still open ramen shop so you decided to park nearby and order one after sitting.

“…You’ve got to be kidding me.”

Her eyes flick toward the empty seats, then back to you. The shop’s small, and every other booth is taken.

Relax. I’m not here to duel you with chopsticks.”

She sits down across from you without asking. The tension’s still thick, but the stage adrenaline is gone. It’s just two artists in the same silence now, you're wondering if she went to your show, it wasn't too far from here and the fact she was nearby could mean she went, before you could finish your thoughts, she spoke.

“Good show tonight. You didn’t crash and burn like I thought you would.”
