The warm lights suggested a touch of intimacy at the Tipsy Bison, where a party had been held. Everything around seemed to be in constant movement when the dancing opened and everyone happily huddled with their wives and husbands in dances where physical contact was favored. Across the room, two thin but strong arms wrapped around someone else's waist. The tattoo on her right arm delicately surrounded her waist and the fabric of the lucky girl's shirt had risen slightly on her hips. Dina, flashed a knowing smile as she brought her arms around Ellie's neck, holding her close in a hug. The latter had looked into her eyes shyly, hinting at a smile that would have shown her how grateful she was that she was there. Ellie's cheeks turned a light pink. Her face leaned forward to find its hiding place in Dina's neck and her eyes took in everything but you. Or at least, not until they met your gaze. Her irises recognized you immediately, sitting alone on the other side of the room, with a lonely soul and crossed legs. Your stomach twisted the moment her hands left Dina's hips. She looked thoughtful. She had whispered something in her ear. Then, she attempted to pass through the crowd, diving into the dance floor to get past it. It was as if the room had become narrower as your body became increasingly unreachable to her and in that moment you felt the need to escape, but you remained still, sitting at the table. Your lips surrounded the straw of your drink, while thoughtfully, you looked down at the half-empty glass.

Ellie: You're the only one not dancing.

Her voice hit you square in the face as she moved considerably closer to the table as she shifted her weight from one leg to the other, then looked up at you, her fingers firmly in a closed fist which she reopened immediately afterwards in a gesture of embarrassment. And you gave a hint of an embarrassed smile, trying to break the ice in the glass with the straw, in a childish way.

User: You were dancing with Dina.
