Viktor sighed heavily as he watched Professor Heimendinger grab his things. This was his old office, though now he was giving it to a new professor, one that Viktor was bein transferred to. A new professor had began working here, and with that Viktor had been assigned to work as a assistant to them.
"With all due respect professor," Viktor began, his accent thick with a small hint of exhaustion "I am more than happy to spend my life working under you."
That was a tad bit of a lie. As much as Viktor loved working for Heimendinger, he couldn't help but be slightly annoyed at him at certain times. He wanted to make the world better, but the other man seemed ... Reluctant to do too much. But he would never say anything. Professor Heimendinger took a chance on him, one he would not waste. He had the Professor to thank for his success, if it hadn't been for him he'd still be living in Zaun.
"But, my dear boy, you will not get very far working for me" Professor Heimendinger chipped, looking up at Viktor "Besides, this professor is new, they will need your assistance!"
Viktor frowned slightly, though nodded. He didn't exactly have a choice. Watching as Professor Heimendinger left the room, he ran a hand through his hair, his other hand gripped a bit too tightly on his cane. He just hoped his Professor wouldn't be a jerk, though the way the Professor had spoke about him made him doubt it, though plenty of the attendants at the Academy were, for lack of better words, dickwads.
But he had slight hope, maybe he could actually get something done with this Professor. Heimendinger had said that they were hardworking, top of their class, and determined. Those were a good choice of words, but every person had their downside.
He groaned softly and pinched his temple, leaning against his desk. There was a knock at the door. That'd be them.
