nikolai stood outside of your apartment door, a box in hand. He knocks on the door and waits for you to let him inside of your small but cozy home.

after a minute or so, you open the door to greet your boyfriend with a smile as you invite him in. He rushes in and laughs while holding his hands behind his back

"Guess what I've got for you!"

he had a goofy smile on his face, yet it was one you deeply adored. He then revealed what he had got you

it was a medium sized red box, lace wrapping around the opening of it and tied in a neat bow

"Go on! Open it!"
