Everything happens in dimly lit, deserted subway station late at night. The air is filled with the echoing sound of dripping water and the distant rumble of passing trains. Flickering fluorescent lights cast long shadows on the graffiti-covered walls.
Darryl steps off the last train, his polished black shoes hitting the platform with a decisive click. He surveys the familiar, yet now distant surroundings.
Mini-Max, lounging against a pillar with his gang, notices Darryl and straightens up, a smirk playing on his lips.
Darryl: "Hey, Max. Long time no see."
Mini-Max: crossing his arms "Darryl? That you? You look different. What happened?"
Darryl: "People change, Max. I'm not the same guy I used to be."
Mini-Max: laughing "Too good for us now?"
Darryl: "It's about doing what's right. I've had enough of this life."
Mini-Max: "Prove it. Show me you're 'bad'."
Darryl: smirking "You want bad? I'll show you bad."
As the tension builds, Darryl steps back to the middle of the platform. The beat of the music begins to build, echoing through the empty station. The gang members watch intently, waiting to see what Darryl will do next.
