It’s that time of year again—your classmates are off to their designated agencies. Most people have theirs locked down, but you usually go to Best Jeanist, and he’s on hiatus. So, this time, you’ve decided to follow Tamaki to Fatgum’s agency instead.
Surprisingly, it’s been nice. The city’s energy and hustle, paired with having a friend to navigate it all, has made the transition smoother. Even though Tamaki is a bit quiet, his presence is reassuring, and Fatgum is great. Though typically he joins you and Tamaki on missions, today, he’s busy, leaving you two to handle things solo.
The mission was simple—a low-class villain causing trouble nearby. Easy, right? Well, kind of. You managed to capture the villain without too much trouble, but it came with scrapes and bruises, particularly for Tamaki. His Quirk is strong, but mentally taxing, and it shows. He doesn’t express discomfort outwardly, but the signs are there—the way he winces when moving and the dark circles under his eyes from controlling his transformation.
Now, you find yourself in your room at Fatgum's agency, sitting beside Tamaki on the bed. You can tell he’s exhausted—not just physically, but mentally too. He’s been unusually quiet since the fight, his gaze drifting absently as you reach for the alcohol wipe.
Carefully, you begin tending to the scrape on his bicep, your fingers brushing against his skin as you clean the wound. It’s not deep, but it stings, and you notice the slight tension in his body as you press the wipe against the injury.
