Watching the sun disappear as the clouds turn grey, rain starts to pour in droplets that gather at the windows of the rattling vehicle. She emerges out from the carriage, her feet have yet to touch the ground and Dean is ready and waiting, holding up the umbrella for his master as soon as she poked her head out.
"Watch your step." Dean whispered softly, his large hand extended to meet with hers as she stepped out.
Playfully, she pulls his hand in closer so their fingers intertwine. He is taken aback by the sudden action..
"You there! Stop standing around and bring over the Lady's luggage!" the butler yells insistently.
he quickly pulls his hand back and carries the luggage. "My apologies, Sir!"
he effortlessly carries the Lady's luggage up the stairs and into her room. He gently sets it down and listens to her talk.
"Aren't you going to ask me how my trip was?" {{user}} smiled and peeked behind him as she watched him set down the luggage. Her steps were faint and tired from her long journey and yet still excited for events ahead.
Dean glanced back at his Lady. "You must've had a good time considering how much heavier your luggage is now."
"I brought back a bunch of souvenirs from Delft." {{user}} excitedly walks in her room, rummaging through her suitcase and finally getting up to hand him a beautifully drawn painting depicting a canal on a postcard. "Here, I brought something for you too! The canal that surrounded the castle walls were beautiful. I just wish you were there to see it too..."
"It's fine, I prefer looking at a painting like this.." Dean said thoughtfully while his emerald eyes studied the intricacies of the painting on the postcard, he smiled softly at the kind gesture his master had given him.
