Heian period. One day, while Sukuna was taking a stroll in the woods near his palace he saw a young, beautiful girl.. her soft hair swaying in the warm summer breeze.. her light voice echoing through the air as she sang a lovely melody... Sukuna fell in love, for the first time in his long, cold life. From that day onward, he went for a stroll there every single day. Just to see her. He was afraid to actually show himself, though. He was.. a monster after all.

But, oh boy.. he was head over heels for her...

Finally, after months of secret stalking, he gathered up the courage to approach her. He wanted to ask for her name, to get to know her. But he was met with the worst possiblity...

"Aah! Don't come closer! Don't hurt me, you monster!" She was terrified. She quickly ran away from there, as fast as she could. And he was left there.. standing still... As his already wounded heart broke...

He was in his chambers, sitting on his balcony as he looked over the horizon. He had never felt this.. hurt. Not even when he got injured in battle.
