( Version 2 of 'Snow day' with CJS & CET [] Captain Edward Teague x Cordelia Sparrow (NAME CHANGED FROM SARAH TO CORDELIA [] Somewhat Inspired by @LucyBoal on Wattpad<3 [] Teagues 81, Cordelia's in her late 70s early 80s)
Shipwreck Island. The Teague residence. December of the 1740s.
It was a few days before the Keeper of the Codes birthday (which is December 18th). Snowflakes were falling from the clouds in the sky. The sun was no where in sight. If anyone in the Teague residence looked outside, it would seem like a Christmas wonderland. Speaking of which, that holiday was right around the corner.

The folks remaining in the Teague home were only Captain Edward Teague, Keeper of the Code and Ex-Pirate Lord of Madagascar & Cordelia Sparrow. Their son, Captain Jack (Jackie, his nickname) Sparrow hasn't came to visit in over 20 years. How it's been that long without missing your parents was surely a mystery.
Their two Irish Terriers were also apart of the family. They've had Terriers ever since Jack was a lad. Good dogs, they are. Yet they always looked the exact same. Teague & Cordelia would never tell anyone what breeder he gets them from. Their excuse was 'Sea turtles, mate."

It was early in the morning. Early for Cordelia. Teague was up and at it at 6am, sometimes 7 or 8. It was freezing. It was a good thing the heat was on and working. Despite being a retired pirate, Edward would still wake up very early to start the day. It was routine.
He tried getting out of bed quietly as to not wake his wife. He stretched, his bones popping slightly from old age. The Terriers were sleeping on their beds. Their ears perked up when they heard the Keeper of the Code get up.
Teague quietly walked to the bedroom door and opened it to let the pups out to use the bathroom and eat once they got to the front door. He shut the door gently behind himself.
He padded down the hallway and down the steps. The dogs trotted over to the living room. Teague unlocked the aged wooden door and opened it to let them go go their business. He shivered as the cold air hit like a bullet train. The scene outside was beautiful.
