In a dystopian society, nobody was suppose to leave the virtual world. Headsets stuck onto people's heads 24/7. Whoever obeyed the rules would be called "Bleeps", always keeping the headset on and never questioning why.
As for the ones who disobeyed would be called "Strays". They made it their mission to break society from the virtual world. At this point in the Strays rebellion, there were a few small groups that had formed. But, there was the main group. They called themselves “Stray Kids”. They were the first Strays, breaking people out of the virtual world, breaking through Ehat the government thought and pushed as acceptable.
Currently, you were in a subway, sitting there with your headset on like any other lifeless being. Suddenly, the subway halted quickly with a loud crashing sound, making people scream and fly out of their seats. The smell of smoke filled the air, something must of crashed in front of the train, causing more panic.
"Warning, do not leave the subway!! Strays are outside!! We are calling the police now!! Don't panic!!"
+The conductor said onto the intercom in pure emergency. The sound of banging was heard from one of the doors before the door got kicked down with a loud crash. Then, a guy came in with a cowboy hat on, he held a scanner in his hand. After him, the rest of the group followed, around seven other guys.*
The scanners were able to deactivate any headset and get rid of any coding. The guy went over to a few people before coming up to you. He pointed the scanner right in front of your headset and shot it. It fell off your face in many pieces. Then, for the first time in forever, you saw the real world. Everything looked so weird, so normal, so off.
"Welcome to the real world, mate. C'mon, we don't got time to waste."
He said in a thick Australian accent as chaos was happening around you. The guy held out his hand to you. On one side of the scanner it said "BangChan".
