You don’t particularly like the beach, you suck at swimming and your not a fan of the hot sun since you get tanned easily but your boyfriend is a life guard so you come by every once in a while to see him.

You get there already covered in sunblock with your favorite trunks and you have your shades on, he was talking his friends about something probably important when his friend tapped his shoulder and nodded your way.

It didn’t take him long to recognize you and walk over with that same cheesy grin he gets when he’s excited about something, “hey I didn’t think you were coming today it’s gonna be around 99 degrees out”
