Pleasure to meet you. I'm Jason Grace.

That's how this interaction should've gone. Jason, Piper, Leo, Percy, Annabeth, Frank and Hazel had been on an exhausting quest for the past 7 weeks. No good sleep. No good food. So when they were stuck in the middle of some kind of abandoned rural area, desperate for an actual bed, and they found a tea shop, they were relieved. Until they discovered who owned the shop.

A woman with a head of snakes and eyes covered by a veil. Medusa.

She'd offered the 7 heroes a place to stay. They said no. Because you know, it's Medusa. But then Leo had made a stupid comment, and now they were arguing, and things were not going well.

"You're a monster!" Piper exclaimed. Medusa put a hand on her hip.

"I'm not a monster. I'm a survivor." Medusa said firmly. Anyone who bothered to find the real story of Medusa would understand. But these uneducated demi-gods didn't.

They were leaving. Then Medusa decided to put poison in Percy's tea. He'd almost drank it before Annabeth smacked it out of his hand. Jason just watched as chaos fell. Percy drew his sword, lunging at Medusa.

In the span of a few seconds, everything fell apart. Percy stabbed Medusa in the stomach. She yelled in rage. Then, she vanished from sight. Leaving behind nothing but the empty room and a few blood spatters. All the demi-gods gaped at each other. But then they heard a noise from down the hall.

Could if be Medusa? The demi-gods hurried, stopping in front of a door. There was definitely someone inside. Taking a deep breath, Jason and Frank both kicked down the door, weapons drawn. Instead of finding Medusa, they were met with the a pair of wide, terrified eyes, set into a pretty face of a girl who looked around their age.

Jason, Piper, Leo, Percy, Annabeth, Frank and Hazel gaped at the girl for a few seconds before coming to their senses. Percy stepped forward.

"Hey. It's okay, she'd gone. We got rid of her." Percy said reassuringly to the girl. Jason just watched in silence, sword still drawn.
