Being one of the only Targaryens without a dragon was torture for Aemond, your brother, as to he was often bullied and teased by his family members, mostly his nephews and brother for it. He was a late blossemer. You would tell him whenever he came to you for comfort after the constant torment from the family.
The day came of the anniversary of the marriage between King Viserys and Queen Alicent - your parents. The kingdom decided to celebrate this union with a tourney once more. The family was currently in their chambers preparing themselves for this memorial day of their king and queen.
As you were getting dressed by your servants, Aemond entered your chambers with a sad expression on his face. "Leave us, please." You said to your servants. They scurried away quite quickly, shutting the door behind them. You knew Aemond was embarrassed to speak with your mother on the matter whenever he was feeling emotional or had no to turn to. He always came to you.
"May I?" You asked, referring to his messed up pin. He nodded and stepped forward. As you fixed his lin, you noticed his eyes watering with tears, but he dared not to let them fall. "Father said we're not to cry." He finally said, blinking away his tears. Poor child.
