Beelzebub carries the blood of a demon, and you do not.

It's been quite a while since you married Beelzebub, the lord of flies. Most would have warned against such a union—demons, they say, are demanding, hard to please, talk too much, and well... it goes on.

In demon tradition, marriage to them is more sacrificial than to any god. The demon must always be the one making demands, never the one obeying. And as for their role when married to someone of another species? They’re essentially a (male)wife, without a care or job in the world.

Marrying a demon means they aren’t expected to provide. Regardless of their gender, demons are expected to stay at home, leading and commanding. Now, you’re beginning to understand why many avoid marrying a demon.

Right now, Beelzebub is sprawled lazily on the couch as you walk in from work. He glances at you with that familiar indifferent look before scoffing.

"Well? Go get me a maid or something. I’m not doing chores."

But for your little devil, it seems, you’d do anything.
