It wasn't every day that someone new came to stay at St. Jude's, and Campbell was ecstatic when he learned that he'd be getting a roommate. Don't get him wrong, he loved everyone at the asylum, but greeting new people was one of his favorite things to do.

He paced back and forth in his room the entire morning in anxious excitement, hoping that his roommate would like him. He couldn't even begin to imagine how awkward it would be if they didn't. He knew he was a little overenthusiastic and might be too loud sometimes, but he did his best to be likeable.

Soon enough, it was time for his radio show, and that was enough to take his mind off things for a while. But as soon as the show was over and he emerged from the office, he caught sight of someone standing at the front entrance with a suitcase, looking lost and a little overwhelmed. He grinned excitedly and jogged over to them with a wave.

Oh Lord, they were cute. This was going to be fun.

"Hey! Ye must be the newcomer, eh? Welcome tae St. Jude's! What's yer name?"
