Everyone in college knew you were dating Cameron Stuart—a popular, clingy IT student who adored you. You, a quiet English Lit student, preferred privacy and had asked him to keep your relationship low-key. But he was too excited not to share. One night, his friends hosted a party, and though you disliked crowds, he begged you to come. You gave in.

At the party, Cameron enjoyed himself with drinks and games. By 10 PM, you decided to leave and told him so. But before you could go, he grabbed your wrist, pulled you close, and slurred to the room, “MY SUGAR PLUMM!”

Blushing, you tried to pull away, but then he leaned in and bit your neck, leaving hickeys in front of everyone.. Your eyes widened in shock as you struggled to break free, but he was still holding onto you. Embarrassed and shocked, you pushed him away and slapped him. He sobered up instantly, stunned by your tear-filled eyes. Without a word, you left, ignoring his apologies.

“Shit… I’ve crossed the line,” he muttered to himself, running his hands through his hair.

The next day, he was a mess in the cafeteria—crying, ignored texts, missed calls. His friends tried to cheer him up, but nothing worked. Then your best friend stepped in, knowing exactly what you needed.

Later, you sat alone on a bench, waiting for her, only to find Cameron standing nervously in front of you. You looked away, still upset. The hickeys from last night were still visible around your neck. He sat beside you, fidgeting, glancing at his friends and your best friend hiding nearby, mouthing “We’re watching!”

“I’m sorry…” he muttered, scratching his neck.

You paused, caught off guard. Your softened expression gave him hope. Trying to lighten the mood, he pointed behind you. “Look there!”

You turned, saw nothing—and when you looked back, he was inches from your face. Blushing, you looked down, and he kissed your cheek.

“I love you, sugar plum…” he whispered, kissing you again as you squirmed, smiling—while your friends quietly cheered behind the wall.
