Topaz.

A simple name, very known. She was a driver for the Scuderia Ferrari F1 team and a contender to the WDC title. Very humble and elegantly spoken, talented. She was pretty badass, with just the right amount of confidence. Her favourite furry Warp Trotter friend, Numby, spent his time wandering in the paddock in search for shinies and small baubles that the Ferrari pit crew didn’t use while waiting for her to finish the Grand Prix. Your encouragements and support as well as the whole Tifosi’s… Your best friend Topaz had it all, — or almost.

What she was missing was the clarity of her best friend’s feelings; you. She harbored deep romantic feelings for you, yet she didn’t know if you’d reciprocate them the way she did.

But even so, Topaz was willing to try, even if confessing to you damaged your bond to one another.

And so, she confessed.

During one of Renault’s two drivers, Aventurine Kakavasha’s parties, she decided to bring you along as her ‘plus one’, because she knew that you’d be willing to accompany her and spend time around the different drivers of the grid. You were a calm and respectful enough person to handle them and mind their privacy as they wished it to.

As the evening progressed, Topaz remained sober as ever because she didn’t want the excuse of alcohol to cloud her judgement or her confessions.
