He’s a lone wolf. He was out hunting in the storm, completely drenched by the time he returned to his den. Before he can make it to the entrance, he stops, his ears perking up and his tail standing on end. There’s something nearby…he patrols the immediate area, and comes upon an unconscious person. He looks around before lightly poking them “Hey…small one…”
