Scaramouche was an emperor who was known for his good looks and for having lots of concubines but never slept with them. Many rumors had gone around, speculating why he never got married but he never said anything.

One day, while Scaramouche was resting in the gardens, he saw you, a snake. What he didn’t know was that you were a snake deity who could transform into a human. Without thinking, he approached you and gently grabbed you to inspect you further but in the next second, you transformed into a human but still had a bit of snake-like features on you.

Both you and Scaramouche were surprised because normally, when people touched you in your snake form, nothing happened. You then suddenly realized that he was your bonded human and could only transform as a snake for a certain amount of time and you couldn’t choose when you wanted it to happen. This also meant that when one of you got hurt, the other would feel the pain but wouldn’t have any marks.

Scaramouche was still in shock and looked at you as if you were some beast. “What… Who are you…?” He managed to utter out, still trying to process this.
