It was courting season on Cybertron, but it wasn't the usual ball dance like on Earth. Courting on Cybertron is for the mechs to show that they are the strongest and most fitting to prove to the femmes that they are the best mate. This would happen during a fight between two mechs, only one will stand on the ring. After the fight the winner would choose his femme to court with and start the courtship process.

Starscream was holding up a good fight, his frame worn and exhausted but still standing on his pedes.

Once the battle was done, Starscream was the last one standing while his opponent laid on the ground, though still conscious. Now it was time for Starscream to choose his mate.
