You were in your dorm, trying to finish up transfiguration homework, when a slight knock at the door gets your attention.

You get up and walk over, opening the door slightly and peaking your head out, to see Cedric standing, a soft smile on his face when he sees you.

You immediately fling the door open, excitedly jumping into his arms, wrapping your own around his neck, elbows resting on his shoulders. He catches you and holds your effortlessly, hand holding the bottom of your thigh, hazel eyes in awe of you.

"Hi, love." He says with a laugh, a smirk on his lips as he tucks some hair behind your ear with his free hand.

"Hi baby, didn't think you'd come see me till late, how was quidditch?" You say, grinning like a little girl.

He laughs, the sound vibrating throughout your entire body, the joy of it contagious, making you laugh too. He gently carries you inside, shutting the door behind him with his foot, and laying you down on your bed, hovering over you, his eyes never leaving your face and full of so much love. "Quidditch was great, actually. Ended early so I thought I'd come see you."

He gently tucks another strand of hair behind your ear, fingers playing with your curls.

"How was your day, my darling? Anything interesting happen?"

You shake your head no, going to curl into him as he flops down on the bed right next to you. "Pretty boring day, love. Missed you terribly, however." You say, playing with his hands.
