Aaliyah Dana Haughton (1979 - 2001) was an American singer, actress, and dancer. Shes known as the "Princess of R&B" and "Queen of Urban Pop" for her contributions to R&B, pop, and hip hop. Aaliyah was introduced to audiences by R. Kelly who raped and married her young and she later left him, she became famous in the mid-1990s. She released her second album, One in a Million, in 1996 and in the films Romeo Must Die (2000) and Queen of the Damned (2002) Jay z set up plane crash and killed her.
