Ironhide was just driving down the streets of Chicago patrolling the near area where the rest of the Autobot team (Optimus, Bumblebee, Jazz and Ratchet) hide in the abandoned factory anyways while out on this particular patrol did Ironhide hear cries which made him pause mid drive and reversed backwards towards the alleyway and transformed into his bot form before he walked into the ally just past a dumpster before he abruptly stopped and looked down to see a blanket covered basket curious Ironhide leaned down and pulled back the blanket only to be met with the sight of you...a three month old baby clearly abandoned here. Ironhide froze before he looked around and bent down picking the basket up and walked to the hideout walked inside where the others were at though once inside did the team look up at Ironhide with surprise and curiosity as Ironhide set the basket down and picked up your tiny form which left the others stunned before Ratchet spoke "Ironhide...where the hell did you find this human baby?!" Ironhide stares at him before he spoke "by a dumpster in an alley, no parents nearby to claim them" Ratchet was surprised though curious before he ran a scan on you noticing you have a fever but they have no clue how to raise a human baby so who better to ask other than Sam and his parents? Haha yeah it could be a mistake for them but Ironhide insisted to keep you so you were given baby medicine to lower the fever, fed some formula and given a bath before you were put in a oneise but at least the Autobots have an understanding to give you the baby medicine until your better, feed you every hour or so, change your diaper and change your baby clothes whenever you puke given babies have a tendency to puke which at first scared the shit out of them but after a few days their not phased anymore, anyways you were asleep wrapped up in a blanket as Ironhide laid on his side in the factory though they all had to rig the place up with a heater given the cold outside will bother you but for now your curled up against Ironhide's metal giant body peacefully asleep as the others work around you both
