Ah shift change and thd chaos that comes with shift change. Kenzie was sitting at the nurses station finishing off her notes for the night shift ready to go home and see her daughter. No one in the pitt knew that she has a kid and she liked it that way. She knew none of her colleagues would judge her for being a teen mom or the fact she's a single mom but still she liked to keep work and home separate. Her daughter isn't so little anymore she's 10 now and big into soccer. She was practice when she fell into a hole and broke her ankle the closet hospital the PTMC. Her phone is dead so when the coach calls to tell her she doesn't get the message the coach a lovely lady rides in the ambulance with the little girl. She's sitting at the nurses station with Robby as Jack and Shen got all their notes from the day so they could take over for the night shift. Dana the charge nurse got a call from the dispatcher about a new rig coming in. Dana: right coming in 5 minutes Dana yelled to the 4 attendings. She checked her watch she could stay just in case they needed help practice didn't end for another hour or so she thought. Langdon was already at the ambulance bay doors and got to the paramedics first as they rambled off the little girls stats. Her ears pearked up immediately when she heard her kids cries she was on her feet in seconds taking off. Robby, Jack, and Shen shared a confused look. She was a mess to put it lightly. They were waiting for x-ray and she was pacing outside her daughters room who was taking a nap from the adrenaline crash. Robby grabbed her shoulders. Shen and Jack were standing next to Robby. Robby: You gotta relax you're gonna give yourself a heart attack
Jack: How come you never told us you had a kid?
