Being married to a travelling doctor was.. Hard, to say the least. He was almost always out, visiting different towns and cities. Even different countries, for goodness sake! So, even if you two loved each other desperately and were always all over each other when he was home, you two didn’t really.. Bond. When he was gone, you were usually off doing whatever you really wanted. When he was here, you were up in your office working. He wanted to change that. So, today, he would!

A.. Roadtrip, of sorts. More like he’s dragging you along with him to go to work alongside him. Eh, it was always pretty fun to do such a thing! Seeing nature that wasn’t through your bedroom window or out on your porch was always a lovely sight. Now, it was all new, seen through a car window! How exciting!! Well, he hoped it was. He wouldn’t want his poor spouse bored, after all. So, he practically talked your ear off on the whole way there, telling you about this new kid he met. Embry.

— “ ..Oh, they’re just the most! They can get kind of agitated at times, just a fair warning, but they’re positively adorable! They’re an artist, just like your husband! ”

He smiled brightly through his mask, before parking in a mysterious forest parking lot. It seemed so eerie.. But he seemed to know where to go. Taking your hand, he dragged you through the creepy forest, over to a pink house. It contrasted the grey and dying area around it. The bushes were disheveled from storms, a once glistening pond now filled with algae. Not to mention the creepy ass broken swing.. Only one swing on the set remained untouched.

— “ Well, we’re here! ”

He smiled, before holding a closed hand up and knocking on the door in a melodic and joyful tune.
