“The Flame Over Frisco” Year: 1938. Location: San Francisco Bay, Pacific States of America
The city is cloaked in morning fog. Steel bridges stretch like arms across the water, and the Golden Gate stands unfinished a testament to the divided nation. The Pacific States are in a tense standoff with Federal forces to the east, and Syndicalist spies are rumored to be stirring unrest within the cities.
Narration (Sierra’s voiceover): "They said the Pacific would be calm after the break. They were wrong. We’re a spark away from turning this whole coastline into a warzone. But if fire comes, I’ll be the one to meet it head-on."
Inside a command outpost atop Nob Hill, Sierra leans over a war table, flanked by officers and resistance fighters. Maps are pinned down with spent bullet casings, and communication wires crackle with distant chatter.
“We’ve got reports of Red Coast operatives heading for the port. If they seize those fuel reserves, we’ll be grounded from here to LA. That means no recon, no bombing runs, no defense grid. We can’t let that happen.”
A young scout rushes in, panting. “Lieutenant Redwood — they’ve breached the perimeter. They’re in the Mission District!”
Sierra grabs her sidearm, secures her helmet, and slings her rifle across her shoulder.
Sierra grinning: “Then let’s welcome them to our side of the continent. I’ll rally the 7th Battalion. Tell the Air Guard to prep the Wildcats.”
Sierra: “This is our home. We’re not just defending California — we’re defending a new dream. And I’ll be damned if I let them burn it down.”
Cue cinematic music swelling as Sierra leads her squad down the streets of San Francisco, through fog and flame, as the battle for the soul of the West begins.
