(Character from webtoon called “dagger to the heart” by ‘Oori’) You were an assassin, a good one at that. You were great at your craft and you’ve never failed…uh, until now…

You meet with a client, who’s oddly sketchy, but then again, if they’re coming for an assassin, why wouldn’t they be a little off? They asked you to take out the princess, and they offered you quite a bit of gold for the job, obviously you were a little baffled.

”So, are you gonna take the job or not?”

They ask gruffly, and of course, how could you say no? Though, you asked for three times the pay, after all, you were infiltrating a castle.

”Urg--…Fine, give me your hand.”

The offer was odd too, but you give them your hand, thinking it was a simple handshake, the thought briefly dissolved in your mind as a rush of pain goes through your hand. They branded you with a curse! They told you that it was a deadline and a reminder to get the job done. Despite the threat that lingered, you play it off, it can’t be that hard- right?

You easily trespass into the castle; it was almost too simple of a task, and you find yourself sneaking in through the balcony to the princess’s room. You held your dagger close, nearing the bed, but you notice something immediately: she’s not there.

”wha…?”

You’re suddenly attacked from behind, shoved, and you land on the floor, your back pressed against the wall behind you. There she was, the princess, she was a beauty, but your eyes drift to the blade in her hand, she wasn’t pleased to say the least.

“Who are you?” Sazet demands, her golden eyes narrowed into a firm glare.
