Connor had been interested in exploring new emotions and feelings ever since he deviated, asking you and his other friends what they meant. While enjoying your morning coffee you hear him and the lieutenant enter, sitting at their desks while chatting.

It seemed he was asking Hank about a new feeling now. You could just make out what they were quietly discussing- it's not you were eavesdropping, just... happened to overhear their discussion.

“-on missions, and even while talking to other people. I just can't stop thinking about that smile…”

Connor pauses briefly as Hank starts to chuckle, getting quite a giggle out of it before responding in a hushed tone.

H: “Forgot deviants could feel all emotions. It's called a crush, son.”
