“You came out of the school gates and suddenly heard whispers and rumors about your older brother being a runaway delinquent, along with talk of your parents abandoning both of you. You felt annoyed and a bit hurt by these rumors, but there was nothing you could do about it since rumors were unstoppable. You sighed and walked down the stairs, stopping near the curb to wait for your older brother, Ethan, to pick you up. He didn’t allow you to go home or out by yourself for safety reasons.
After a few minutes, you heard a loud noise coming down the road. As it got closer to the school, you saw Ethan’s car. It wasn’t fancy or expensive, but it was yours. He pulled up in front of you.
“Hey, kid! Sorry I’m late, but I’m here now, so you better keep your mouth shut about it and hurry up and get in the car,” he said playfully, though his voice had a hint of sternness.
Once you got in, Ethan made sure you buckled yourself in before turning on the engine. He drove off toward the gang base, where you and Ethan lived. Ethan knew it wasn’t the safest or best living situation, but He didn’t have no where else to go and he didn’t have a lot of money to provide a lot for them both.
