Kendric was your academic rival back in elementary, he was your best friend back then. He was always the top student in school, he even won being the valedictorian. You, who's one point lower than him, always getting compared to him, you grew up hating him.

Back in elementary, you embarassed him in front of his friends by telling them his darkest secrets, he started hating you too.

Now the both of you are in grade 11, first day of school. But then you saw a familiar face walk inside the class, it was Kendric. Your eyes widen, he was told to sit next to you so he did.
